Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum two years of related clinical nursing experience.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations within the health system.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across units, developing and evaluating individualized nursing care plans.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and detect changes in condition early.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
• Orient quickly to different units, patient populations, and care protocols within the float pool.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and interventions per standards.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain safe patient care standards.
• Work day and night shifts as scheduled to meet staffing needs.
