Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Room Float Pool, providing patient-centered care while rotating between Aurora and Centennial campuses. You will work with a strong team and use technology to enhance monitoring, communication and outcomes.

The role requires AR/ER experience, Colorado RN license (or multi-state), and consistent ACLS/BLS/PALS competencies. You will travel between sites to ensure staffing coverage and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BCLS, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, PALS required within specified timeframes.
• Colorado RN license or multi-state license.
• 2+ years ER RN experience preferred.
• Ability to travel between HCA HealthONE Aurora and Centennial campuses.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly and promotes effective pain management.
• Performs procedures, monitors and documents care in the medical record.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• Educates patients and families about condition, treatment and follow-up.
• Prepares patients and families for self-management and post-discharge plans.
