Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of RN experience in the Emergency Department.
• NV RN license is required.
• ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certification within specified timelines.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and perform initial and ongoing assessments in the ED.
• Apply nursing process with critical thinking to prioritize care.
• Perform IV insertion and assist with chest tube procedures as needed.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status per physician orders.
• Document care clearly and communicate with the care team.
