Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a full-time EMT/Paramedic to join the Emergency Department in Denver, CO. Night shifts with some weekend/holiday requirements. Role includes vital signs, specimen collection, patient movement, and assisting with admissions and transfers.

Must hold an EMT or Paramedic license in the applicable state, BLS, IV certification, and be capable of providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current Basic EMT or Paramedic license in state of practice.
• Colorado EMT license accepted; national certification acceptable.
• BLS-HCP certification required on hire and IV certification on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic and advanced life support to patients in ER.
• Document and coordinate with health care team.
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain infection prevention standards according to policy.
