Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso, Texas, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an ER Discharge Coordinator to manage bedside scheduling as part of our centralized ER and Urgent Care Follow-up programs, improving the patient experience from admission to discharge.

You will speak with patients and care teams, schedule follow-up appointments bedside when appropriate, and ensure compliance with performance and quality standards while delivering outstanding service.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As an ER Discharge Coordinator, you will be responsible for Point of Care (PoC) Patient Bedside scheduling as part of the company’s centralized ER and Urgent Care Follow-up programs. The truest intent of the ER discharge coordinator is a bedside-initiated patient experience, with the objectives of increased contact rate, scheduling immediacy, and improved overall patient experience. You will create and maintain a positive customer experience in a patient-centered, quality-driven environment.

In this role you will:
