HCA Healthcare is seeking an ER Discharge Coordinator in Riverside, CA to manage bedside scheduling as part of our centralized ER and Urgent Care follow-up programs. You will focus on enhancing patient experience with a bedside-initiated contact and rapid scheduling to improve overall care continuity.

The role emphasizes clear communication with patients, families, and care teams, aiming to increase contact rate and satisfaction while maintaining quality standards across the department.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As an ER Discharge Coordinator, you will be responsible for Point of Care (PoC) Patient Bedside scheduling as part of the company’s centralized ER and Urgent Care Follow-up programs. The truest intent of the ER discharge coordinator is a bedside-initiated patient experience, with the objectives of increased contact rate, scheduling immediacy, and improved overall patient experience. You will create and maintain a positive customer experience in a patient-centered, quality-driven environment.

In this role you will:
