Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support urgent and emergency care. You will assist with lab draws, interact with patients, transport and monitor, and maintain medical records under supervision by licensed personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an AA is preferred.
• Basic rhythm recognition and BLS training within specified timelines.
• Experience or training in a mental health setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lab drawings as needed.
• Interact with patients, observe behaviors, and report observations.
• Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Provide direct patient care and supportive counseling.
• Respond to emergency situations and assist with CPR when needed.
