Job summary

Post Oak Er Pllc is seeking a CT/Radiographer to perform CT and radiography procedures in the ER, ensuring patient safety and ALARA compliance. The role requires ARRT certification and Texas licensure, with 2–3 years ER experience preferred and CPR/BLS certification mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT-registered radiologic technologist.
• Licensed to practice in Texas (TMB).
• Two to three years’ ER experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiography procedures and review charts for completeness.
• Perform CT procedures and radiography following ALARA principles.
• Operate radiology/CT equipment safely and maintain ALARA standards.
• Provide privacy, reduce patient anxiety, and offer emotional support.
• Document care and supplies per ER policy; assist with labs, IVs, vital signs, EKGs, and splinting as needed.
• Maintain professional rapport with staff and physicians across the ER.
• Carry out general duties including patient intake and lab testing as directed.
