VEG in Austin is seeking a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team. You’ll perform triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia and critical care nursing while supporting pets, clients and doctors.

You should be CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT in the state, AVMA-accredited program preferred, and have 1+ year emergency or specialty experience. Expect a fast-paced, collaborative environment with opportunities for growth and mentorship.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher in AVMA-accredited program preferred.
• Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the practice state is required.
• 1+ year experience in veterinary technician role; emergency/specialty preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with practice management software and EMR.

Responsabilidades

• Triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Provide nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Utilize IVs, CRIs, blood transfusions and other advanced techniques.
