Endeavor Health is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse Practice Specialist to support the Emergency Department in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role focuses on applying advanced clinical expertise, education, and leadership to improve patient outcomes across the system.

You will mentor nurses, drive evidence-based practices, and collaborate with nursing leadership to implement educational programs and quality initiatives in a Magnet-recognized environment.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree Nursing required.
• 5+ Years clinical experience in a medical center, hospital environment or academic setting.
• RN license in Illinois required.
• BLS - American Heart Association Basic Life Support required.
• ACLS - American Heart Association preferred; required within 3 months of hire.
• Current nursing specialty certification; if none, certification within one year of role.
• Adult learner knowledge and expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility in work schedule.
• Ability to interact with interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with diverse audiences.
• Commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
• Presentation skills for education across the organization.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsabilités

• Provides clinical nursing expertise in area of nursing specialty and advanced skills.
• Assess and recommend education needs for role development.
• Provide staff support and guidance in patient care planning.
• Identify professional practice needs by data collection and analysis.
• Lead quality initiatives and implement change.
• Promote evidence-based nursing practices and regulatory standards.
• Evaluate outcomes of nursing practice changes.
• Lead integration and evaluation of technology to improve safety and outcomes.
• Collaborate on policies, procedures, and sustainable unit-level change.
• Participate in Shared Decision-Making Councils.
• Develop annual competencies and staff education plans.
