Job summary

HCA Healthcare’s TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center is seeking an ER Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead patient-centered care across the emergency department. The CNC will coordinate nursing activities, oversee admissions/discharges, and mentor staff under the direction of the nursing leadership.

The role requires RN licensure, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and adherence to BLS and Crisis Intervention timelines, with experience aligned to department needs.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher
• BLS required within 30 days, Crisis Intervention within 60 months

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes for efficient throughput and quality care
• Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care quality with management
• Collaborate with managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes
• Support patient-first service and manage service recovery when needed
• Operationalize nursing strategies to boost engagement and rounds
• Provide guidance on interviewing, training staff, evaluations, and disciplinary actions
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management within productivity guidelines
• Support inventory control and supplies/equipment management
