HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead the Emergency Department during the shift, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with the management team to monitor nursing care and support staff, while advancing patient outcomes and employee development.

Responsibilities include throughput optimization, staff scheduling, and training, with a focus on service excellence and a patient-first philosophy.

Qualifikationen

• Must be licensed as a Florida RN or eligible for compact licensure; active FL RN within 60 days.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
• Minimum two years ER RN experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• PALS and/or ENPC certifications required within 6 months of hire.
• NIHSS, TNCC and CPI training required within 6 months; grace period 6 months.
• National Board Certification (CEN, CPEN) highly preferred.
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication; PC skills.

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services with the management team.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to create teamwork for improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Operationalizes nursing strategies, including employee rounds and hourly rounds.
• Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
• Assists with staff scheduling and manages labor according to patient care needs.
• Supports inventory control and assists with supplies and equipment management.
