Job summary

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead nursing care in the ER division. You will coordinate admission/discharge flows, monitor care quality, and drive patient-centered outcomes alongside the management team.

The role requires FL RN licensure, nursing diploma or ASN, and at least 1 year ER RN experience; BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC, NIHSS/TNCC, and CPI training within 6 months are expected. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
Participates in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services in the unit.
Collaborates with managers to create teamwork that improves outcomes.
Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
Oversees staff scheduling and labor to meet patient care needs.
Assists with interviewing, selecting, and training new staff; supports performance evaluations.
