Job summary

MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to ensure high quality, patient-centered care across the unit during the designated shift. You will collaborate with the management team to direct nursing care, monitor outcomes, and mentor staff to uphold the hospital's mission and values.

You will participate in admissions/discharges, staffing, inventory, and the implementation of nursing strategies to improve throughput and patient experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS required.
• PALS required.
• TNCC required.
• RN license in Nevada required.
• CEN certification preferred.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 30 days of start date.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years leadership/charge RN experience desirable.
• Extensive ED experience in an acute care hospital required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions across shifts.
• Direct, monitor and evaluate nursing care with the management team.
• Serve as a resource person and mentor staff to support outcomes.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and throughput for efficiency.
• Support staffing, scheduling, inventory control and supply management.
