Responsibilities

• Staffing and Assignment Management: Develops and adjusts daily staffing assignments based on census, acuity, and operational needs.
• Patient Flow and Throughput: Coordinates timely admissions, transfers, discharges, and changes in patient placement.
• Quality and Patient Safety: Conducts or facilitates shift safety huddles and promotes compliance with safety initiatives.
• Patient Experience: Rounds on patients and responds promptly to concerns or needs.
• Staff Leadership & Development: Facilitates teamwork, mentoring, onboarding, and staff development.
• Communication and Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Liaises between frontline staff and leadership; coordinates handoffs.
• Department Operations and Productivity: Monitors productivity, staffing utilization, and workflow.
• Documentation & Regulatory Compliance: Ensures accurate nursing documentation and readiness for accreditation.
• Assist in staffing when needed / Other Duties as assigned
