Riverside Health System in Onancock, VA is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to provide leadership for nursing operations, coordinate staffing, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care in collaboration with the leadership team.

You will oversee patient flow, staff development, and interdisciplinary coordination, support quality and safety initiatives, and act as a resource to nurses, physicians, and other care teams.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Program Graduate, Registered Nurse is required.
• Virginia RN license required; current active status.
• BLS/CPR certification required by AHA/ARC

Responsabilités

• Staffing and assignment management to ensure safe patient coverage.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.
• Lead quality and safety initiatives and participate in audits.
• Promote patient experience through timely rounds and responsiveness.
• Provide coaching, onboarding, and competency validation for staff.
• Act as liaison between frontline staff and leadership.
• Monitor productivity, staffing utilization, and throughput.
• Ensure accurate nursing documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with staffing during peak times or vacancies.
