Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervises and supports nursing and support staff, delegating tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Evaluates staff performance, providing feedback and coaching to maintain high standards of care.
• Oversees assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care and care plans.
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and resolve flow or delivery issues.
• Ensures effective communication among physicians, patients, families, and hospital departments.
• Monitors patient flow, bed assignments, and resource utilization within the unit.
• Leads infection prevention efforts and adherence to safety, infection control, and quality improvement practices.
