Job summary

Sierra View Medical Center is seeking a Charge Nurse for the Emergency Department on the night shift. This full-time role requires professional leadership to coordinate patient care, staffing, and resources for the unit.

You will mentor staff, ensure therapies and treatments are followed, and communicate with Clinical Managers and department leadership to maintain quality care. California RN licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of unit-specific clinical experience.
• CPI certification or ability to obtain within one year.
• Must be licensed as RN in California and hold BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Responsibilities

• Makes patient care assignments and coordinates with leadership during high census.
• Coordinates staffing needs and ensures accurate census reporting.
• Mentors staff and participates in leadership development.
