Job summary

Willamette Valley Medical Center seeks an experienced Charge Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. This full-time night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) offers a competitive wage scale and the opportunity to lead an ED team in a Level IV Trauma Center with 12-hour shifts.

Candidates must hold an RN license and a nursing degree, with BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications; a minimum of one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in nursing from an accredited school
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises and mentors nursing and support staff during shift
• Determines staffing levels and assignments based on census and patient acuity
• Provides direct patient care when needed and coordinates admissions/discharges
• Ensures equipment and supplies are available for safe patient care
