Job summary

Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems is seeking a full-time or part-time Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team on the day shift. The RN will deliver safe, high-quality care using the nursing process and communicate with physicians about patient conditions and results.

The role includes 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, and holiday coverage with incentive pay for extra shifts. Cross-training to the Acute Nursing unit is required; Student Loan Forgiveness may be available with

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license for the State of Kansas.
• Two year minimum RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Communicate changes in patient condition and diagnostic results with physicians.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
