Job summary

Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems is seeking a full-time or part-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The RN will provide safe, high-quality care using the nursing process and communicate with physicians about patient changes. The position features 12-hour shifts from 6:00 a.m.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process.
• Communicate with physicians regarding changes in a patient’s condition, including results and symptoms.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
• Cross-training to the Acute Nursing unit is required.
• Work 12-hour shifts with every third weekend and rotating holidays.
