Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health's SAGE Campbell is seeking Per Diem ER/CCU Veterinary Technicians to support our Emergency and Critical Care Unit in Campbell, CA. The role offers flexible per diem shifts for experienced techs.

Candidates should have 2+ years of veterinary clinical experience; RVTs are strongly preferred. California VACSP must be maintained or obtained within 60 days; those with a California RVT license have VACSP waived.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary clinical experience.
• RVT preferred.
• California VACSP or obtain within 60 days of hire or transfer into the role.
• VACSP requirement is waived for individuals who hold a valid California RVT license.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support to veterinarians caring for emergency and critical care patients
• Assist with patient care, treatment, monitoring, and other veterinary clinical procedures
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and members of the veterinary team
• Perform accurate mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices, estimates, and other clinical calculations
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient and client information
• Follow hospital protocols and safety standards while providing high-quality patient care
• Work collaboratively with veterinarians, RVTs, Veterinary Assistants, and other hospital team members
