Qualifications

• 2+ years of ER/CCU clinical experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Must maintain California VACSP; must obtain within 60 days or have CA-RVT license.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during treatments and procedures.
• Monitor critically ill or injured patients.
• Collaborate with the team for around-the-clock care and treatment coordination.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures such as bloodwork and imaging.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Monitor and maintain medical equipment.
• Communicate with pet owners regarding updates and plans.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and provide emergency care as needed.
