Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care in the Emergency Services department. You will assist with patient transport, supply stocking, and basic clinical tasks under supervision.

Ideal candidates have vocational training and at least six months of related experience, a Nursing Assistant Certificate, and BLS certification. You will help keep the ER orderly, assist with mobilization and routine procedures, and support the care team to ensure smooth

Qualifications

• Vocational/technical training and more than six months of related experience.
• Nursing Assistant Certificate required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Transport patients between hospital units.
• Ensure supplies are stocked in the Emergency Services department.
• Administer CPR, check blood pressure, temperature or perform phlebotomy and electrocardiograms as needed.
• Ensure the emergency rooms are neat and orderly at all times.
• Adjust crutches for patients as necessary.
• Obtain food order from kitchen.
• Transport discharged patients via wheelchair to car.
• Deliver specimens as needed.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.
