• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred; EMT/CNA/PCT credentials considered.

Aufgaben

• Take direction from the RN, EMT, or physician to maintain a high standard of patient care.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes promptly.
• Assist with emergency procedures including wound care, dressing changes, and splint application.
• Perform general interventions: vital signs, phlebotomy lab draws, 12-lead ECGs, patient transfers, IV access.
• Assist with patient care under supervision of licensed nurse.
• Obtain medical specimens such as blood/urine as directed.
• Maintain infection-control standards and restock rooms/carts.
• Transport patients to other departments as required.
• Answer telephones, call lights, and interdepartmental communications.
• Greet patients and staff professionally; relay information between departments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain inventory and monitor expiration dates.
