Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT is seeking a Part-time Emergency Room Tech to provide direct patient care in the ED and assist medical providers and licensed nurses.

You will support personal care, nutrition, and discharge processes, with 6–10 weeks of training. A high school diploma is required; EMT-B/MA/CNA experience and BLS certification are preferred. English proficiency and background checks are required.

Competenze

• Education: High school diploma required
• Experience: EMT-B, Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant with acute care experience preferred
• Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Ability to read, write, and speak English, and perform simple math calculations required
• Ability pass drug screening and background check

• Provides for personal care and safety needs of patients
• Provides for nutrition and elimination needs of patients
• Performs specific procedures according to patient plan of care
• Assists with admission, discharge and transfer for patients on and off unit
• Communicates effectively with patients, family member and hospital personnel
