UofL Health Hospital's Emergency Department seeks a board-credentialed Advanced Practice Provider for a full-time role in the Emergency Department. The APP will diagnose and treat emergent and acute cases, and will educate patients and families while collaborating with faculty and nursing staff.

The position requires weekend shifts, strong clinical decision-making, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Emergency medicine experience required.
• Must hold Kentucky PA or NP licensure (or eligible).

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and treat emergent and acute patients in the Emergency Department.
• Educate patients and families.
• Work with faculty during patient care.
• Manage ED observation unit patients.
• Order, interpret and record test results.
• Make rapid, informed clinical decisions under pressure.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff.
