Responsibilities

• Accurately collect and enter patient demographics, insurance, and contact information into the EMR system.
• Obtain signatures on legal and insurance consent forms and ensure documents are scanned.
• Prepare estimates, arrange payment plans, collect upfront payments, and reconcile daily reports.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and medical staff; coordinate with Bed Control for bed placement; communicate delays to patients and leadership.
• Escort and transport patients to designated areas and ensure timely processing from registration to room.
• Monitor and resolve registration edit errors to maintain accurate patient records and billing information.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy policies and verify patient identity.
