Job summary

UBS is seeking an Equity Trader to join the Asset Management Trading Desk in the United States, based in Chicago (preferred) or New York. You will execute cash equities, ETFs, and equity derivatives while collaborating with PMs and senior traders to optimize execution and risk management.

You will analyze market conditions, develop trading strategies, and contribute to the evolution of trading processes with automation and AI tools. A strong background in institutional equity trading is required.

Qualifications

3–7+ years of institutional equity trading experience.
Strong knowledge of US equity markets and market structure.
Experience trading cash equities, ETFs, and/or listed equity derivatives.
Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
Familiarity with OMS/EMS platforms and algorithmic execution tools.
Interest in systematic or programmatic trading; coding is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
Bachelor's degree required; CFA/MBA considered a plus.

Contribute to expanding coverage across products and asset classes.
Build strong relationships with brokers and liquidity providers.
