Job summary

Evercore ISI seeks to hire a Research Associate for its Global Retailing, Softlines & Luxury Brands equity research team located in New York, NY. The candidate will develop and update financial models, perform valuation analyses, and leverage AI tools to drive insights.

Strong writing, communication, and a finance/accounting background are essential, with 2–5 years in equity research or investment banking preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of Equity research or investment banking experience ideal.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong modeling and Excel capabilities, with ability to apply AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update financial models efficiently.
• Perform financial and valuation analysis of covered companies.
• Execute proprietary research projects that generate impactful stock calls.
• Assist with client requests and inquiries.
• Maintain databases and create tables and charts.
• Leverage AI to improve efficiency and productivity of the team.
• Participate in company management calls and conferences.
