Job summary

Evercore ISI seeks to hire an Equity Research Associate for its Homebuilding and Building Products equity research team located in New York, NY. You will develop and update company-specific and industry financial models, perform valuation analyses, and author industry reports.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong writing and communication skills, and a demonstrated interest in corporate finance and equity markets. MBA and CFA are helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Background in equity research, investment banking, or equity sales preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills; this job requires a significant amount of writing and conversations with client/industry counterparts.
• Strong analytical and modeling capabilities.
• Experience working with AI tools.
• Concrete understanding of / demonstrated interest in corporate finance & equity markets.
• MBA and/or CFA helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update company-specific and industry financial models
• Perform financial and valuation analyses of covered companies
• Author industry and company-specific research reports
• Closely follow industry and economic trends and oversee data collection
• Leverage AI to improve the team’s efficiency and productivity
• Communicate investment ideas to institutional investors
• Other duties as necessary
