Job summary

insightsoftware seeks a Technical Support Engineer for Equity Management to ensure client satisfaction and successful data reporting. You will work with Engineering and Product teams to identify defects, prioritize updates, and serve as a subject matter expert for data interfaces and file feeds.

You will analyze data, troubleshoot feeds, and help clients meet regulatory requirements using SQL, Excel, and tools like Salesforce and Jira in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent English is required.
• Ability to work US-based hours (PST).
• Proficiency with SQL, FTP, data management and file interfaces.
• Familiarity with relational databases, data analysis, auditing and SQL scripting.
• Advanced Excel skills highly desired.
• Experience with Agile environments preferred.
• Knowledge of Salesforce and Jira is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide data analysis, report writing, file management, and technical support.
• Monitor daily file feeds for timeliness and accuracy; assist clients with issues.
• Learn regulatory requirements across accounting, legal, tax and other areas; guide setup of features.
• Test and escalate unresolved cases to engineering and product management.
• Collaborate with product and services teams to prioritize items for each sprint release.
• Respond to direct customer inquiries during peak volumes; manage cases in Salesforce.
