Qualifications

• All candidates must demonstrate equity-minded practices and ability to work with diverse student populations.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• RRT credential and current California state license.
• Minimum of four years experience as an RRT with at least two years in clinical respiratory care.
• Minimum of two years teaching an accredited respiratory care program.

Responsibilities

• Teach a part-time schedule of Respiratory Care courses as assigned.
• Use varied pedagogy and technology for face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff.
• Maintain course syllabi and keep accurate records.
• Submit grading and evaluations in a timely manner.
• Fulfill all duties of instructors as required by Administrative Regulation 7122.
