Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and current state license.
• Minimum four years experience as an RRT, including at least two years in clinical respiratory care.
• Minimum two years experience teaching an accredited respiratory care program as faculty or clinical preceptor.
• Evidence of an equity-minded approach to diverse students’ backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Teach part-time Respiratory Care courses.
• Use multiple pedagogies including face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
• Develop and provide course syllabi; maintain records.
• Submit grading and evaluation reports promptly.
• Teach in various instructional settings and times; fulfill duties per regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
