Clovis Community College is seeking an Early Childhood Education Instructor to join its part-time faculty pool in Clovis, CA. The instructor will teach a range of child development and ECE courses on campus and may engage in off-site locations and evening/weekend schedules.

Qualifications

• Evidence of responsiveness to diverse student backgrounds and equity-minded practices.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field with specialization in child development/ECE.
• Ability to work with a racially and socioeconomically diverse student population.
• Equivalency may be required if degrees do not match exactly.

Responsibilities

• Teaching a variety of child development/early childhood education courses with lecture and lab components.
• Developing curricula, instructional methodologies and strategies.
• Advising students on academic and career goals in Child Development.
• Participating on discipline/division peers and campus committees.
• Teaching schedules may include evenings, weekends, online or off-campus assignments; dual enrollment at local high schools possible.
• Engaging in outreach activities and staying current with state regulations for early childhood programs.
