Educational Federal Credit Union in Miami, FL, is seeking an Equity Loan Officer to educate and guide members through Equity Loan and HELOC processes while delivering exceptional service. You will build relationships with branches, members, and staff to identify lending opportunities and originate equity products.

You will collect documentation, communicate underwriting decisions, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of equity lending experience required.
• Ability to communicate loan requirements and options clearly.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsabilités

• Respond to member inquiries regarding Equity Loans, HELOCs, and other lending products, explaining options, eligibility, rates, terms, and the process.
• Promptly respond to referrals and new loan applications with timely follow-up.
• Maintain visible presence at branches to cultivate referral relationships and originate Equity Loans and HELOCs.
• Refer first mortgage opportunities to Mortgage Loan Officer while maintaining a positive member experience.
• Communicate loan process status and underwriting decisions to members, adhering to service levels.
• Communicate underwriting decisions, denials, counteroffers, and alternatives per policy and regulations; refer to financial counseling when appropriate.
• Meet or exceed monthly loan production goals while ensuring compliance with lending policies and regulations.
• Conduct loan closings for Equity Loans and Equity Lines of Credit.
• Participate in events and outreach to promote products and generate referrals.
