Job summary

City of Cambridge seeks an Equity and Inclusion Trainer to deliver high-quality learning experiences across the municipal government. The role reports to the Executive Director of the Office of Equity and Inclusion and supports the development, coordination, and delivery of training to strengthen inclusive practices.

The trainer designs accessible materials, collaborates with departments and partners, and ensures training is responsive and impactful.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of experience in training, instructional design, adult learning, or equity-related work.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating discussions or trainings related to equity, diversity, or inclusion.
• Experience designing or adapting curricula, learning materials, or workshops.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate equity and inclusion trainings, workshops, and discussions for employees at all levels.
• Use accessible, adult-learning methods to engage participants and promote skill development.
• Adapt training content to fit a variety of departmental contexts and roles.
