Job summary

County of Los Angeles seeks an Equity in County Contracts Program Manager within the Internal Services Department to lead contract strategy, governance, and performance for ECC initiatives. You will coordinate with departments, CBOs, nonprofits, and diverse vendors to expand contracting opportunities.

The role requires advanced contracting expertise, advisory skills, and the ability to translate policy into actionable procurement plans while guiding staff and stakeholders to meet equity goals.

Qualifications

• Experience managing contracts from inception to completion for nonprofits or community orgs.
• Ability to advise departments on contracting processes and best practices.
• Experience providing technical contracting assistance and training.

Responsibilities

• Act as a consultant to County departments on contract strategy and standardizing processes.
• Review opportunities for diversity and inclusion to broaden participation in solicitations.
• Provide guidance to achieve utilization goals for LSBE, DVBSE, and CBE entities.
• Contribute to innovative solicitation design and contract tiering strategies.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define contract specifications and scope of work.
