Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or 60 college credits preferred.
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.
• Experience collaborating in a team and supporting programming.
• Experience with student behavior management preferred.
• Experience with crisis intervention techniques preferred.
• Experience monitoring health needs and medication distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists teachers and staff in implementing instructional programs.
• Demonstrates commitment to equity, social justice, and inclusion.
• Monitors student health needs and implements care plans under supervision.
• Assists in following IEPs through group and individual instruction.
• Maintains records and records progress in an objective manner.
• Supports behavior management using positive strategies.
• Participates in district and school activities and meetings.
• Provides assistance with materials preparation and housekeeping.
