Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree or better or ability to pass Work Keys assessments.
• Ability to read and comprehend written program plans and classroom instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to implement student behavior plans including TCIs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Two+ years post high school training or equivalent experience in direct care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct assistance and training to students in pre-academic and academic areas.
• Assist with self-care, life skills, and therapeutic programming as directed.
• Support classroom teacher in material preparation and data collection.
• Attend conferences and participate in collaboration with staff as needed.
• Follow the district Code of Conduct and work in multiple instructional sites.
