Job summary

Monterey Peninsula College seeks an experienced administrator to plan, coordinate, and lead the day-to-day operations of a special program. The role includes budget monitoring, data tracking, and maintaining confidentiality of student records.

You will recruit participants, assist with enrollment, and collaborate with staff, faculty, and community partners to advance program goals and ensure equity and access for students.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of public and human relations techniques; research methods; report writing; presentation skills; current office procedures and practices.
• Ability to learn and apply Federal, State, regional, and District regulations, policies, and procedures; understand and independently carry out oral and written instructions.
• Two years of related experience in student services on a college campus or in a community agency that provides comparable services.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and participate in a variety of complex administrative activities related to the assigned day-to-day operations of a special program.
• Coordinate and lead day-to-day program office activities; monitor budgets; maintain confidentiality of records.
• Coordinate student recruitment and assist with registration of participants; monitor progress of enrolled students.
