Job summary

Bend-La Pine Schools is seeking a School Social Worker to support students’ academic success, attendance, and social-emotional well-being. Qualifications

• Oregon School Social Worker license required or eligible.
• Ability to obtain SBHC credentials (NPI/Medicaid) in Oregon.
• Knowledge of school social work, child development, mental health, and related laws.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with students, families, staff, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive school social work services to support academic success, attendance, and well-being.
• Develop referral systems and conduct assessments of factors affecting learning.
• Provide individual and group counseling, case management, and crisis intervention.
• Monitor attendance, behavior, and progress to identify and address barriers to success.
• Collaborate with families, staff, and community partners to coordinate services.
