Job summary

Denver Public Schools seeks a program management professional to support Prevention Services and schools in building equitable behavior supports and trauma-informed practices. This role partners with district teams to create sustainable systems that improve climate and learning outcomes.

The position emphasizes coaching, training, and data-informed decision making to reduce disparities in discipline while aligning with DPS’s commitment to equity and excellence. Denver residency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ year managing programs in an educational setting.
• Commitment to racial and educational equity.
• Based in Colorado and eligible to work.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation to school teams on Positive School Culture and restorative practices.
• Guide school leadership in building belonging and equitable systems.
• Educate administration and staff through regular data-driven discussions to improve discipline outcomes.
• Collaborate with Culture, Equity, Leadership, Bully Prevention, Whole Child, Special Education, and Family Engagement teams.
• Develop and implement training plans to improve adult experiences and build capacity.
• Contribute to monthly meetings to share best practices and progress toward goals.
• Identify process problems and provide coaching to sustain improvements.
