Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Two years teaching experience in an urban public or charter school preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach math to several sections of high school students.
• Collaborate with department members to develop and refine Excel’s math curriculum.
• Design and implement rigorous assessments that measure student mastery of standards.
• Hold students accountable for behavior and implement the school’s behavior management system.
• Provide coverage during non-instructional time and contribute to the Excel community.
