Job summary

Mary's Place seeks an Outreach & Diversion Specialist to support families living unsheltered in King County. You will work toward housing solutions, coordinate with landlords and service providers, and advocate for clients with sensitivity to trauma and equity.

This full-time, day-shift role may require evenings, weekends, and travel within King County, with compensation of $27.00 to $28.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services or related field or equivalent experience in shelter or case management.
• Experience in shelter settings or with homeless populations strongly desired.
• Basic knowledge of Housing First Principles; familiarity with harm reduction and trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Identify housing goals with clients and develop housing plans.
• Conduct housing assessments and document data for HMIS and internal databases.
• Communicate with landlords, service providers, and clients to coordinate housing solutions.
• Maintain confidential client information and timely case notes.
• Coordinate Resource Room services and support on-site at the Allen Family Center.
