Job summary

Oak Park Elementary School District 97 seeks an Elementary Core Instructional Coach to build teacher capacity through differentiated instruction and research-based practices. You will collaborate with classroom teachers to close opportunity gaps and accelerate learning, while aligning with district equity goals.

The role focuses on professional learning, data-informed decision making, and district-level collaboration to improve outcomes for all students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required
• Classroom teaching experience (minimum 3 years) required
• Instructional coaching experience preferred
• Experience with 1:1 learning environments preferred
• Ability to integrate technology into differentiated instruction

Responsibilities

• Develop positive relationships with teachers, administrators, and staff.
• Design and facilitate professional learning on effective instructional practices and differentiation.
• Collaborate with staff to implement new Illinois standards (CCSS & NGSS).
• Support differentiation and personalized instruction, including 1:1 initiatives.
• Provide resources and coaching through PLCs and district teams.
• Attend district and school leadership meetings as needed.
• Support data analysis to guide instructional decisions.
• Assist with technology deployment related to differentiation and learning.
