Nuveen Real Estate seeks an Associate Capital Markets (Equity) in New York to support evaluating and securing third-party debt for direct equity investments and fund-level facilities. You will collaborate with deal teams, asset management, research and lenders to optimize leverage and financing strategies.

The role involves drafting financing memos, analyzing lender quotes, facilitating loan closings, and providing ad hoc analyses for investor due diligence.

Qualifications

• University (Degree) Preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in capital markets, real estate or related field preferred.
• Experience supporting due diligence and financing processes in real estate.

Responsabilités

• Facilitates and supports the due diligence process between the capital markets deal team lead, investments and asset management teams and prospective lenders for all equity financing opportunities.
• Prepares the initial draft financing offering memorandums for in-house or third party broker lead financing requests.
• Assists senior team members in the financial analysis of lender quotes and hedging strategies to determine optimal leverage outcomes for the equity business.
• Participates in discussions with the relevant portion of the equity business with any financial inputs required for Investment Committee memos.
• Facilitates senior team members with the loan or facility closing process with internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitates senior team members with any required ad hoc analysis of financial and operating performance to assist with investor, client and lender due diligence for sector fund products.
• Interfaces with key internal groups including debt capital markets, research, legal, insurance, asset management, portfolio management, accounting and treasury.
• Prepares analysis and helps monitor market dynamics and trends while seeking the input of the Nuveen Real Estate research team and other professionals in analytic activities.
