Job summary

Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. The Equity Research Expert — Single-Name Analyst Publications role is a contract position offering remote work with compensation of $150–$250/hour.

The role requires forecasting post-catalyst notes, reasoning from filings and earnings to published views, and documenting the workflow behind equity reports. You will work independently to meet deadlines while helping to improve AI model performance.

Qualifications

• Former lead sell-side equity analyst or senior research associate with publication experience.
• Deep command of filings, earnings, transcripts, estimates, valuation, and ratings.
• 8+ years of direct experience or equivalent performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Former lead sell-side equity analyst or highly senior research associate with personal publication experience.
• Deep command of filings, earnings, transcripts, estimates, valuation, ratings, and the internal workflow behind an equity research report.
• 8+ years of direct experience or unusually strong evidence of equivalent performance.

Preferred

• Experience with Institutional Investor-ranked teams and leading research franchises such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, Bank of America, Citi, UBS, Barclays, Bernstein, Jefferies, and Wolfe Research.
