Mercor is seeking an Equity Research Expert for contract work to forecast and publish a named analyst’s post-catalyst research note. The role requires deep experience with filings, earnings, transcripts, estimates, valuation, and ratings, plus ability to document and optimize the internal workflow behind equity reports.

The candidate will review model outputs, maintain high standards, and work asynchronously to meet deadlines in a remote setting.

Qualifikationen

• Must have lead sell-side equity analyst experience or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of filings, earnings, transcripts, estimates, valuation and ratings.
• 8+ years of direct experience or unusually strong evidence of equivalent performance.

Position: Equity Research Expert — Single-Name Analyst Publications

Type: Contract

Compensation: $150–$250/hour

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Forecast the timing and content of a named analyst's post-catalyst research note.
• Reason from filings, earnings, transcripts, estimates, valuation, and ratings to an expected published view.
• Document the internal research workflow that determines how and when an equity research report gets produced.
• Review model-generated analyses and grade them against your own standard.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance .

Qualifications Must-Have

• Former lead sell-side equity analyst or highly senior research associate with personal publication experience.
• Deep command of filings, earnings, transcripts, estimates, valuation, ratings, and the internal workflow behind an equity research report.
• 8+ years of direct experience or unusually strong evidence of equivalent performance.

Preferred

• Experience with Institutional Investor-ranked teams and leading research franchises such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, Bank of America, Citi, UBS, Barclays, Bernstein, Jefferies, and Wolfe Research.
