Job summary

TP ICAP seeks a Business Analyst to join the Equity Delivery team within Technology Change Management. The role focuses on eliciting, analyzing, and communicating detailed business requirements to enable changes across TP ICAP IT systems, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs across multiple business units.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years as a BA in finance/trading, strong stakeholder communication, and a proven ability to translate business needs into clear specifications for IT delivery

Qualifications

• +4 years proven experience operating as a business analyst, preferably with finance or trading background.
• Knowledge of trading applications, order management and understanding of full trade lifecycle.
• Understanding of the full project life cycle from requirements capture through to implementation, testing and delivery.
• Ability to work on multiple projects whilst managing multiple deadlines and differing priorities.
• Demonstrate ability to illicit and articulate requirements between business and IT stakeholders.
• Identify and define AI-driven opportunities across equities trading workflows, translating business requirements into AI-enabled solution specifications.
• Adept at working in Agile/ Agile SAFe delivery environment, exhibiting strong communication skills including collaboration with local and remote team members.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance analysis, accelerate delivery, and improve stakeholder communication.
• Knowledgeable in Jira or similar issue management system.
• Appreciation of the full SDLC and driving the importance of quality throughout this process.
• Contribute to functional testing of developed features to ensure these meet the delivery criteria.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Product Managers/ Product Owners/ Development to design and build quality software solutions that align to the IT strategy/vision.
• Take Ownership/Accountability for development of key features and drive to completion.
• Lead in the analysis of stakeholder objectives, challenging problem statements to deliver clear requirement documentation to allow scope and prioritisation.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance analysis, documentation, and stakeholder communication, accelerating BA deliverables while identifying efficiency improvements and sharing best practices across the team
• Support the team through governance of defining scope and guiding estimation of work to be done by leveraging domain and business knowledge
• Communicate effectively on progress and ensure impediments, risks and dependencies are tracked and raised early to minimise impact to the delivery.
• Assist team members to understand the focus and delivery value of each milestone and each release
• Be proactive in supporting the team’s engagement in a well-defined SDLC that supports planning, prioritisation and delivery needs
• Deliver against both Functional and Non-functional requirements.
